Overview

Real-Time Rocket (RTR) is one of Rice Eclipse’s ongoing avionics projects under the Flight Instruments team. Originally initialized as an R&D project, RTR has transitioned into its own sub-team of members working on hardware and software. The objective is to perform real-time data telemetry from the avionics module on our rockets and transmit that data directly to our ground stations. Down in the pipeline, the ultimate goal of the project is to work alongside with RESFET and ARCA as the primary flight computer of our future launch vehicles.
